FAQStarting from this, in order to boost economic growth through lending, Bank Indonesia since 2006, felt the need to support the banking intermediation through the establishment of Credit Information Bureau. The main task of the Credit Information Bureau is to collect and store data providing funding / financing, and ultimately distribute them as credit information, hereinafter referred to as Individual Debtor Information (IDI) Historical. History IDI can be used by financial institutions Credit Bureau members (banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions), as well as the community, both individuals and business entities.For financial institutions, History IDI acquired expected to be used among others to determine the credibility of the (feasibility) prospective recipients provision of funds (debtor) and to identify potential borrowers is currently receiving facilities for provision of funds from other institutions or not. Such information will help financial institutions in:

    
Simplify analysis for credit / financing, so as to facilitate the provision of funds, and
    
Application of risk management among others to avoid the failure to pay a loan that has been granted and prevent fraud.For society, History IDI acquired expected to provide positive education to always be responsible for credit obligations it has received, as well as to help control the truth and accuracy of data submitted by financial institutions to Bank Indonesia.

The authority decided to provide credit facilities / finance is the policy of the concerned bank or NBFI.
    
Truth and accuracy of information History IDI is the responsibility of member financial institutions Credit Bureau reporting the data.
    
All legal consequences arising from the use of IDI History for the purposes of financial institutions Credit Bureau members are not in accordance with the provisions, entirely the responsibility of the financial institution concerned.
    
All legal consequences arising from the use of IDI Historical society, entirely the responsibility of the concerned.
