Stock ROM vs Custom ROM (Android)

Are there any of you who are confused and ask yourself: "What I am mending pake Stock (original) Android ROM or Custom ROM better pake aja ya? '. Well, then this post is right for you read more hehe. I was one of those who never ask like that and already answered this question for myself. At its core is to choose the appropriate ROM own needs. So this post is not a matter of judgment which is better than anyone, and vice versa. Only a small analysis so I can answer the above questions for me. Let maree more ...

Stock ROM is the ROM default default your mobile phone manufacturer. Sure there are some advantages offered, one of which stability. Stock ROM is a ROM that very carefully in a release through various experiments and lab by the manufacturer before it is actually released to the public, while the Custom ROM is a ROM derived from the Stock ROM, which tend to be fast in a release. To the extent that there are developers Custom ROM that gives the term "nightly" for the ROM is still trial and error phase, "RC (Release Candidate)" for the most stable ROM, as well as "stable" for the ROM which is considered to be almost the same stability when compared to parent ROM (Stock ROM). Another difference between Stock and Custom ROMs may aja searching on Google as the title of this post, there are lots of explicitly outlining why even plus disadvantages of each ROM, so do not be in a repost again on this blog heheh.

What I want to emphasis the point in posting this is not a difference between the two, but rather why I finally chose Stock ROM instead of using a Custom ROM. Well the maniacs Custom ROM no offense first .. ga nothing wrong with Custom ROM for wrong-or-right choose android ROM depending on the needs of each of us ya! Hahaha .. So are some of the reasons for me:

Turns out I do not like / rare maen game. And after all this time berandroid, statistics prove applications that I use often just Whatsapp, ym, gtalk, email, and Instagram. Eh, social media applications like Facebook and Twitter did not even touch so I uninstalled hahaha ... The point is absolutely not needed tuning-up/tweaking/overclock built-in features that exist in some Custom ROM .. is tu applications that I often do not use too many resources spent heheh ... because of the impact of the hardware in a tune-up that resulted in speed and performance over kenceng Custom ROM so that the use of battery power would be increased at the tail-tail's battery- live phone even be shorter. And with the clock settings on the Stock ROM reasonable enough for me personally yaa ...
More stable, secure, and ... trusted. Yes iyala .. because this is the ROM from the manufacturer that has been through a trial period before being released and eventually installed it on my phone. To Custom ROM, which is important make sure the developer is the developer terpercayahhh ..
I am the type who is not too concerned at the beauty of the user interface A and B, blablabla ..
Males replace ROM. Well, here's the most basic alesan like hahaha. Move ROM that means I will "turn off" (downtime) mobile phone for a long time, while I do not have a backup phone (wkwkwk alibi). Stock ROM reset to factory defaults wrote that just delete the partition / data and / cache has to make phone 1 hour's downtime to install more applications and that. Reinforced the need to use my mobile phone as you already know, just for some applications running fine on the stock ROM, the more lazy deh dressing ROM hahaha ..
A bit OOT but spliced-sambungin .. My Slackware Linux user who has the principle "Keep It Default" and already terdoktrin with hahahay TSB. Slackware probably one of the few Linux distributions that still use the vanilla kernel (kernel default of http://kernel.org). All people can download the kernel from kernel.org and use it for his Slackware, unneeded patch of distributions. Not only the kernel, even applications that diinclude this distro default from the manufacturer. Say in Slackware firefox, firefox package really Mozilla.org without an iota of a plus or subtract the Slackware developers. The principle of "slack" or "loose", so that should "tighten" is its user Slackware respectively hahah .. Ok, back to the topic of Android ..
There are a few mobile Custom ROM for Galaxy Ace ROM me where it is said he is a descendant Android 4.0.x aka Ice Cream Sandwich. Once considered, the Linux kernel is still 2.6.35 or kernel-base of Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread). Wow .. disappointed ya .. This definitely is a derivative Gingerbread system architecture. Lest ICSnya is only "theme" or "feels like ICS" only. Please note, the ICS-based system using the Linux kernel 3.0 Custom ROM so for users who find the kernel is 2.6.35, you can bet it's not a purely architectural ICS system or even just a theme that could be ICS alone ..
For 6 points, even we can easily change the information build version ROM if you want. All information is stored on the system build version file "build.prop". Stay edit the "ro.build.display.id" to change the build number handphone. FYI, the default build number Galaxy Ace Gingerbread Stock ROM when the post was made: "GINGERBREAD.DXKT5". Just change the value to "ICS.DXLP7" for example, so it looks like the Custom ROM of ICS official derivatives. Then can also edit the "ro.build.version.release" who was once "2.3.6" changed to "4.0.1". There are many properties that can be manipulated in the build.prop file. Once the property they will be subject to manipulation, just install ICS UI theme of the market. And if anyone else can believe it ICS? Yes, it may believe. For inspection very easy. Just type the command "uname-r" in fact ... If you are out in the output kernel release 2.6.35, you can bet they will still derivative Custom ROM Gingerbread.
Oh yes, how to change the properties on the file build.prop indirectly have I ever post on this blog. So to change the properties they will be on top, just type the following command as root:

# Setprop [space] nama_properti [space] value

# Setprop ro.build.display.id ICS.DXLP7

# Setprop ro.build.version.release 4.0.1

The last thing on top of that probably makes me more lazy to use Custom ROM. Except maybe one thing that can make me move ROM .. Because ICS official release was not going in for my Galaxy Ace. But as far as I know, the Galaxy Ace Custom ROM purely derivative ICS support yet in some functions such as radio and camera. Still waiting for great people to develop its ROM hehe ...

This post has no offense, just some of the reasons why in the end I prefer Stock ROM. Welcome to choose!
